| Obverse description | Printed in violet on buff paper, the obverse is enclosed within a decorative guilloche border with oak-leaf and floral ornaments at each corner. The issuer's title 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE CAHORS' heads the note, with the large letterpress denomination '50 CENTIMES' centred and flanked by '0.50' on each side; a serial number appears above. Two manuscript signatures below, captioned 'LE PRÉSIDENT' and 'LE TRÉSORIER', are followed by a redemption clause and the date '1er Janvier 1915' at the foot. |
