| Obverse description | Blue letterpress note with an ornate scrollwork border enclosing the joint issuing authority title at top. A circular stamp of the Chambre de Commerce de Caen appears at centre, flanked by the two presidents' manuscript signatures; the denomination '0.50' in large bold numerals is centred, with 'Cinquante Centimes' below. The municipal coats of arms of Caen and Honfleur appear at lower left and lower right respectively, with the date range '1915–1920', series, and serial number along the lower margin. |
