| Obverse description | Blue letterpress on cream paper within a guilloche border with decorative corner ornaments. At the top centre, the municipal coat of arms of Annonay is set within a vignette of laurel and olive branches beneath a ribbon bearing the motto CIVES ET SEMPER CIVES, flanked by the issuer's name CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE D'ANNONAY in a curved banner. The large denomination numeral 50 CENTIMES occupies the centre, below which the reimbursement clause, banker's name, and deliberation date of 31 August 1914 are printed in smaller type, with manuscript signatures of the Trésorier and the Président appearing in the lower portion. |
