| Reverse description | The reverse is laid out within a neoclassical architectural frame of two fluted pilasters supporting a double arch, with the city arms motif at the keystone. The denomination 50c appears in boxed numerals at the base of each pillar. A central cursive text block states the legal guarantee and redemption conditions, specifying that the notes are exchangeable at the La Rochelle branch of the Banque de France and must be presented for reimbursement before 31 December 1920. The monogram CC appears in square panels flanking the arch. |
