Reverse description The reverse features a left-facing laureate and draped bust of Liberty, wearing a classical diadem and with long flowing hair cascading over the shoulder, in the style popularized by engraver Eugène-André Oudiné. The effigy occupies the central field in bold relief. The legend LIBERTAD arcs along the upper periphery, while CINCUENTA and CENTAVOS are disposed in two lines across the lower field, flanking the bust, each separated by a small five-pointed star at the base. A beaded border frames the entire design.
