Obverse description The Bolivian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting an oval cartouche bearing a condor with spread wings at the summit, flanked by crossed Bolivian flags and framed by laurel and olive branches below. The arms are rendered in fine relief against a flat field. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA arcs around the upper periphery in bold Latin capitals, while a single five-pointed star appears at the base of the design. The entire device is encircled by a continuous dentillated border.
