Obverse description Left-facing draped bust of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, after the effigy designed by Eugène-André Oudiné, with flowing hair rendered in fine detail. The legend REPUBLICA ARGENTINA arcs around the upper periphery, while the word LIBERTAD appears along the lower periphery, flanked by six-pointed star ornaments. A beaded border frames the entire design.
