Reverse description The reverse features a centrally placed White Nun orchid (Monja Blanca, Lycaste skinneri alba), the national flower of Guatemala, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic detail. The name of the flower, 'MONJA BLANCA', arcs along the left side of the design, while 'FLOR NACIONAL' continues the identification. The denomination '50 CENTAVOS' is inscribed to the right of the floral motif, with the legends disposed around the central device in a balanced composition.
