| Obverse description | Plain paper ground with a decorative scalloped border running the full perimeter. The upper portion bears the denomination 'P.50' at left and right, flanked by the title 'Mountain Province Emergency Note' in script lettering. A central text block certifies deposit of the equivalent of 'Fifty Centavos' at the Philippine National Bank, payable to bearer on demand. The lower portion contains four signature lines for the Provincial Governor, Provincial Treasurer, Provincial Auditor, and Assistant Provincial Treasurer, each bearing manuscript signatures. |
