Obverse description	The obverse is printed in blue-black and orange tones, with the bank title EL BANCO DE HONDURAS across the top beneath the legend REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS. To the left, a vignette of a bull's head faces right, while the central vignette presents an intaglio view of a colonial church set within an oval frame. Denomination numerals 50 appear at each corner, and three signature lines for El Presidente, El Gerente, and El Ministro de Hacienda run along the lower margin above the imprint of Waterlow & Sons Ltd.

The legend CINCUENTA CENTAVOS appears in a straight panel below the central motif.
