| Reverse description | Printed in brown on plain paper, the reverse is dominated by a central oval vignette framed by fine guilloche latticework, enclosing an allegorical scene of three figures — two girls and an older woman — gathered around an open book in a study composition. Large numeral "50" counters appear in bold relief within ornate lathe-work cartouches at left and right, and a Greek-key border runs along the outer edges. The issuer name arcs above and below the central vignette. |
