| Reverse description | The arms of the United States of Colombia occupy the central field: a shield divided into three sections depicting a Phrygian cap, a fasces, and a coastal seascape with sailing vessels, flanked by a bundled fasces and a cornucopia on either side, surmounted by a condor with wings displayed. The denomination CINCUENTA CENTAVOS arcs across the upper legend, while the lower legend reads G. 12,500 MEDELLIN LEI 0,500, indicating the mint, gross weight, and silver fineness respectively. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
