| Obverse description | A condor with wings displayed stands facing left at centre, clutching a shield bearing the Chilean national arms at its feet. The national motto POR LA RAZON O LA FUERZA arcs around the upper field as a circular legend, flanked by a finely reeded border. Two five-pointed stars flank the date at the base of the design, separated by a lower inner border.
