| Reverse description | Central coiled dragon in high relief facing forward with a flaming pearl at centre, rendered in the characteristic style of late Qing provincial dragon coinage. An English legend arcs above and below the central dragon device, contained within decorative ribbon cartouches. Manchu script characters appear to the left and right of the dragon in the field, identifying the issuing dynasty. The overall design follows the standard format established for Kirin provincial machine-struck coinage of the Guangxu period. |
