| Obverse description | Central device comprises the Kuomintang sunburst emblem: a raised circular solar disc surrounded by twelve bold triangular rays radiating outward, the whole set within a plain inner circle. The field between the inner circle and the milled border is occupied by a continuous legend in Chinese characters arranged in two registers: the upper arc reads 中華民國二十年 (Year 20 of the Republic of China) and the lower arc reads 河南省造 (Made in Henan Province). The rim is defined by a uniform denticulated border. |
