| Obverse description | The Venezuelan national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield with a sheaf of wheat, crossed flags and weapons, a white horse in gallop, and two cornucopias above. Flanking the shield are an olive branch to the left and a palm branch to the right, with two decorative ribbons below inscribed with the dates and names of independence and federation.
