Obverse description Black intaglio on white cotton paper, with a large ornate central numeral '50' enclosed within an elaborate guilloche and foliate scrollwork frame dominating the face. A classical allegorical female figure, seated and robed, occupies a vignette in the upper-right corner, while the upper-left carries the bank title and capital inscription in bold letterpress. The denomination text 'CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES' and payability clause are centered in the lower register.

Reverse description Printed in orange-red on white cotton paper, the reverse centers on an oval vignette containing the Venezuelan national coat of arms, enclosed within an intricately engraved guilloche border. Large numeral '50' panels appear at both the left and right margins, flanked by symmetrical rosette and floral underprint patterns characteristic of American Bank Note Company workmanship.
