| Obverse description | Central device depicts the national emblem of Oman — two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid with a belt and two crossed swords — rendered in fine relief at the centre of the field. The denomination appears in both Latin numerals (50 BAISAS) to the left and Arabic-Indic numerals (٥٠ بيسة) to the right of the central device. The Arabic legend قابوس بن سعيد - سلطان عمان curves along the upper periphery, while the Latin legend QABOOS BIN SAID - SULTAN OF OMAN arcs along the lower periphery, separated by small star stops. |
