Reverse description Central device consists of the royal cypher 'Por Por Ror' (ภปร) of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, rendered in ornate Thai traditional style and surmounted by a tiered royal crown, all set within a circular emblem surrounded by radiating sun rays extending to the inner field. The surrounding legend in Thai script records the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the reign and the date 9 June 2559 (2016), with the denomination '50 Baht' and 'Thailand' inscribed along the lower periphery.
