| Obverse description | Uniformed bust of Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn facing slightly left, wearing a decorated military-style jacket adorned with medals, orders, and a floral garland necklace. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and regalia. A Thai-script legend curves along the left and right periphery of the field, reading her full royal title. |

| Additional information |
Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, born in 1955, was granted the title Maha Chakri by her father Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1977 — an unprecedented honor that placed her in the direct line of succession, breaking with convention in a country that had not recognized female succession rights. The Royal Thai Mint has issued commemorative coinage for her milestone birthdays consistently since her fifth cycle, making the 60th birthday issue one in a well-documented series rather than a standalone piece.
Copper-nickel was chosen over the silver alloys used in earlier Sirindhorn commemoratives, keeping this issue accessible for general circulation and gift-giving rather than collector packaging alone.
