| Obverse description | Blue and pink lithographed note with a central guilloche panel bearing the large numeral '50' above the denomination legend 'CINQUENTA AVOS'. A vignette to the left depicts a Chinese junk under sail on open water, while to the right a circular medallion carries the Banco Nacional Ultramarino seal with a sailing ship. Chinese characters appear in the corners and along the top border, with the bank name and 'MACAU' inscribed in the upper field; decree details, two facsimile signatures, and the printer's imprint run along the lower margin, with a red serial number panel at centre-bottom. |
