The bank title in Pashto script appears at top centre within an ornamental panel, with the denomination numeral 50 repeated in both Arabic-Indic and Western numerals at upper left and lower right. Three manuscript signatures appear along the lower portion of the note, with serial number and date printed in red overprint at centre.

Reverse description Central vignette within an oval frame presents the Independence Monument (Minaret of Knowledge and Ignorance) in Kabul, set among trees in a finely engraved intaglio scene. Flanking the central vignette are two large circular guilloche medallions bearing the denomination 50 in both scripts, all rendered in blue-violet tones on an ornate lathe-work background. A panel of Pashto inscriptive text runs along the lower margin, with the bank name and denomination repeated in the upper corners.
