Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed at center, crowned and with wings spread, rendered in high relief against a mirror-field background. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by a beaded border. The date 1991 appears in two parts at the lower left and right of the eagle's body, with the denomination ZŁ 50000 ZŁ inscribed along the lower field. The mint mark appears beneath the eagle's tail feathers.
