| Obverse description | Notgeld issue printed on plain paper with a green zigzag-pattern guilloche underprint forming a central rectangular field. The denomination is stated at the top in bold letterpress as 'M. 50000', with the value repeated in Gothic Fraktur script as 'Fünfzig Tausend Mark' across the centre. A payment clause in smaller Gothic text reads 'zahlt die Stadtkasse Fürth i/B. gegen diesen Schein dem Einlieferer', followed by the issue date 'Fürth, den 14. Aug. 1923' and the authority designation 'Stadtrat:'. Two circular 'Stadtgemeinde Fürth' stamp vignettes appear at the left margin, and three manuscript signatures are inscribed below the date line. |
