| Obverse description | A stylized clock face occupies the left-center of the field, its numerals arranged in a sweeping arc; at its center a circular inset depicts a Lao temple complex (Pha That Luang) rendered in high relief against a dark background, encircled by the legend 'Bank of the LAO PDR' above and the date '2017' below. To the right, an ornate decorative feather motif rendered in flowing relief sweeps across the field, accompanied by snowflake ornaments and the fineness mark 'Ag 925' inscribed vertically along the right border. The denomination '50 000 KIP' appears in bold relief along the lower portion of the field. The Moscow Mint privy mark is visible in the lower right area of the field. |
