| Obverse description | Central field depicts a detailed frontal view of Pha That Luang, the great golden stupa of Vientiane, rendered in high relief against a polished black field. The legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the denomination '50000 Kip' and the date '2026' appear in the lower exergue. The fineness mark 'Ag 925' is inscribed to the left of the stupa, and the Cyrillic mint mark 'ММД' (Moscow Mint) appears to the right in the field. |
