| Obverse description | The national arms of the Lao PDR displayed centrally within a scalloped clover-shaped flan, featuring Pha That Luang stupa surrounded by forest and paddy fields, framed by a wreath of grain stalks and lotus blossoms. The legend REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE POPULAIRE LAO arcs around the periphery. The denomination 50000 KIP, the date 2013, and the fineness mark Ag.925 appear in the lower field. A suspension hole is pierced at the top of the flan. |
