| Obverse description | Central field depicts a detailed view of Pha That Luang, the iconic gilded Buddhist stupa of Vientiane, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background and flanked by symmetrical ornamental foliate scrollwork. The issuer legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' curves along the upper portion of the field, integrated within the decorative design. A recessed panel at the bottom bears the denomination '50000 Kip' and the date '2017' in bold raised Latin lettering. At the lower margin, the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД), the mint's quality control privy mark, and the alloy designation 'Ag 925' are inscribed. |
