| Obverse description | A highly detailed high-relief depiction of the Temple of Heaven (Tiantan) in Beijing dominates the lower and central field, rendered with exceptional architectural precision showing the triple-tiered circular hall, ornate balustrades, marble terraces, and ceremonial pavilions. The background field is engraved with dramatic swirling clouds in the Chinese artistic tradition.
