The letters M and O appear in the field to either side of the saint, representing the mint mark of Buda Chamberlain Mikes Jemnisti, and the numeral 13 is placed between the saint's legs, referencing the original florin type. The legend ZSIGMOND*1387-1437 ARANYFORINTJA arcs around the periphery, faithfully reproducing the inscription of the medieval gold florin. |
