Reverse description The reverse presents a faithful high-relief reproduction of the reverse design of Albert Habsburg's original medieval gold florin, set within a beaded inner circle. The design depicts a crowned full-length figure of Saint John the Baptist standing facing, robed and holding a long cross-staff, with the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) at his side, all rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of 15th-century Hungarian florin coinage. Gothic letttering in the inner field flanks the saint. The outer legend reads ALBERT 1437–1439 arcing across the top and ARANYFORINTJA along the lower border, commemorating the reign dates of King Albert of Hungary.
