Obverse description The obverse is printed in red and blue on a light pink and green guilloche underprint. At centre-left, the circular vignette of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe seal bears the Zimbabwe Bird motif with the bank name in a surrounding legend. The denomination numeral '50 000' appears in large figures at upper-left and upper-right, with the full text of the bearer cheque obligation — including the expiry date of 31st July 2007 and issue date of 1st March 2007 — set out in the central field. A wave-pattern guilloche rosette occupies the right portion of the note, and the Governor's facsimile signature appears at lower-left above the title 'Dr. G Gono, Governor'.

Reverse description The reverse carries a central vignette of an African elephant set against a background of Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya — The Smoke that Thunders), rendered in blue-green tones over a multicoloured guilloche underprint. The bank name is inscribed along the upper margin, and the overall design echoes the naturalist imagery characteristic of the Zimbabwean Second Dollar bearer cheque series.
