| Reverse description | The reverse is printed as a blind intaglio impression on plain paper, showing the mirror image of the obverse design in very pale relief without ink, typical of unprinted or back-impression notes of the era. The central state seal medallion, the oil-derrick vignette at upper left, and the denomination numerals are all discernible as embossed outlines against the unprinted white surface. |

The Transcaucasian Socialist Federal Soviet Republic was a short-lived administrative union of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, created in 1922 and dissolved into separate Soviet republics by 1936. Its currency existed in an equally brief window, issued while the region was being absorbed into the USSR's monetary framework. The enormous face value — 50,000,000 roubles — reflects the catastrophic hyperinflation that had ravaged the post-revolutionary rouble, making denominations of this magnitude a practical necessity rather than an anomaly.
The TSFSR monetary series is among the more obscure Soviet-era regional issues, and P#S634 sits at the high end of the denomination range.
