Reverse description Unadorned typeset reverse printed in black on plain paper, carrying a lengthy promotional text in Gothic blackletter extolling Spremberg as the former geographical centre of the German Reich. A cited official decree by the Chef der Preußischen Landesaufnahme, dated Berlin, 16 July 1914, provides geodetic coordinates confirming this claim, concluding with the signatory "v. Bertrab".
