| Obverse description | Green on cream paper Notgeld issued by the Bezirksverband der Amtshauptmannschaft Dresden-Altstadt, dated 22. September 1923. The left stub carries the district coat of arms in an oval seal with circular inscription, a series letter and red serial number, with the annotation 'Zugelassen vom Reichsfinanzministerium' in the upper left corner. The central panel bears the denomination in ornate Gothic blackletter script reading 'Fünfzig Millionen' above a redemption text, closing with two facsimile signatures over the printed titles 'Amtshauptmann' and 'Kasseninspektor'. |

Vertical ornamental guilloche columns flank the central panel on both sides, and an anti-counterfeiting warning legend is printed in Gothic script across the top of the note. |
