| Reverse description | Entirely printed in pale salmon-pink, the reverse is composed of an overall fine guilloche pattern with an elaborate rosette underprint at centre. The word 'BONN' appears in widely spaced capital letters both at the top and bottom of the note, and a large denomination inscription 'FÜNFZIG MILLIARDEN' is set in bold letterpress across the centre of the guilloche field. No figurative vignette is present; the design relies wholly on the intricate engine-turned lathe work for its anti-counterfeiting character. |
