| Obverse description | Plain cream-coloured ground with a light underprint vignette at centre, enclosed within a rectangular double-rule border with ornamental corner devices. The title legend appears in large letterpress type across the top, while the denomination 'Fünfzig Milliarden Mark' is set in bold, heavy display type at the centre of the note. The issue text, validity clause, place and date of issue (Erbach i. O., den 26.
