Obverse descriptionBlue, gray and green letterpress print.  On the right side, in a medallion, a woman`s head, ornamental composition. The figure of the woman is strikingly similar to Stanisława Serafińska, whose portrait titled `Kasztelanka` was painted in 1876 by Jan Matejko. Stanisława Serafińska was the daughter of Joanna née Giebułtowska and Leon Serafiński. She was also the niece of Matejko`s wife, Teodora.  In the unprinted field there is an image depicting a gamekeeper from Białowieża. Below is a guilloché rosette.
Reverse descriptionIn the center there is an inscription `Bank of Issue in Poland`, an ornamental composition. Letterpress print in steel blue and gray.
