| Obverse description | Steel-blue letterpress print on plain paper, with the bank title NARODOWY BANK POLSKI across the top within a fine guilloche border. The central panel carries the denomination inscription PIĘĆ ZŁOTYCH in bold letterpress type, flanked on each side by an ornamental guilloche rosette bearing the numeral 5; scrolling foliate vignettes fill the lateral fields.
