Reverse description The reverse depicts the Jingzi Pavilion (敬字亭), a historic multi-tiered stone tower located in Taiwan, rendered in fine relief at the centre of the composition and flanked by large, leafy trees. A decorative terrace wall with traditional Chinese ornamental motifs runs across the lower middle ground, with stone steps descending in the foreground. A tortoise-shaped stele bearing the inscription 客人哉 is prominently featured at the lower centre. The denomination 5元 is inscribed to the left field, and the Chinese legend 宝岛台湾一敬字亭 (Treasure Island Taiwan — Jingzi Pavilion) appears along the lower border.
