Obverse description Central view of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests within the Temple of Heaven complex, rendered in fine detail with its distinctive triple-eaved circular roof and surrounding balustrade. The inscription 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper periphery of the coin in raised Chinese characters.
