| Obverse description | Olive-green on ochre underprint. A central vignette enclosed within an ornate arch cartouche bears the denomination 伍圓 (5 Yuan) in Chinese characters, set against a rural landscape vignette of farmsteads and hills extending across the full width of the note. Serial number appears twice in the upper field, with Chinese inscriptions identifying the bank and the Republic of China date of issue disposed in the lower portion of the central cartouche. |
