Reverse description The centre is occupied by a densely worked engine-turned guilloche oval in green, within which the numeral 5 appears in large outline lettering against the lathe-work ground. BANK OF CHINA and KWANG TUNG PROVINCE head the design, with PROMISES TO PAY THE BEARER ON DEMAND arched above the central device, while FIVE DOLLARS, the date CANTON, JAN. 1ST 1913, and a note of payability in subsidiary silver coins are arranged across the lower portion.
