Obverse description Printed in black and red on plain paper, the obverse centres on a vignette of a male figure seen from behind, arm raised aloft bearing an anarchist flag, set against a rising sun motif rendered in radiating lines. Bold letterpress text arranged in a border around the vignette identifies the issuing workers' community, the CNT–FAI affiliation, and the denomination, reflecting the graphic idiom of Spanish Civil War anarcho-syndicalist ephemera. The overall composition is austere, relying on strong typographic layout rather than elaborate ornamentation.

Binéfar is a small agricultural town in the Huesca province of Aragon, and during the summer of 1936 it fell within the anarchist-controlled zone almost immediately after the military uprising. The CNT-FAI collectivized the local economy rapidly, and worker communities across Aragon issued their own emergency scrip when Republican currency became scarce or was simply distrusted. These hyper-local issues — often printed on whatever stock was available — were valid only within the issuing collective and functioned as internal wage tokens rather than general-circulation banknotes.

The Gari Monedas reference number being absent suggests this piece was either unrecorded or known from only one or two specimens when the catalog was compiled.
