| Obverse description | The national emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan occupies the central field, depicting a shanyrak (the crown of a yurt) with crossed tundyks radiating sunbeams, flanked symmetrically by mythical winged horses (tuлpar) and wheat ears, with the legend ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ arranged in a circular inscription around the periphery. A single five-pointed star appears at the apex of the design above the emblem. The overall composition is rendered in low relief on a plain field. |
