| Reverse description | Central device depicts the Imperial Iranian emblem: a lion passant to the right, holding a sword in its right forepaw, with a radiant sun rising behind its back, set upon a plain ground within a linear frame. The device is surrounded by an elaborate wreath composed of oak branches on the right and olive branches on the left, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The mint name 'طهران' (Tehran) appears in the lower exergue beneath the wreath. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The execution is crisp and deeply struck, consistent with high-denomination Qajar presentation coinage. |
