Obverse description Draped and uniformed bust of Elector Frederick August III facing right, rendered in high relief with detailed hair curling over the collar. The effigy depicts the Elector in military dress with an elaborate epaulette and decorative gorget visible at the truncation. The circular Latin legend reads FRID AVG D G DVX SAX ELECTOR, distributed around the periphery. The coin border features a distinctive milled or beaded edge pattern. The portrait is executed in the refined neoclassical style characteristic of late 18th-century Saxon coinage.
