Reverse description Central field features the crowned quartered arms of Brandenburg-Bayreuth surmounted by a princely crown, flanked on either side by large ornamental initials forming a crowned royal monogram. The date 1746 is split to the left and right of the upper crown. Below the shield, the mint master's initials C • L • R appear above the denomination inscription 5 THLR, the entire composition arranged in a bold, heraldic manner consistent with German baroque gold coinage.
