Reverse description A long Latin cross divides the field into four quarters, with the legend interrupted by the cross arms. An annulet is placed in the second and third angles of the cross, while three bezants (pellets) appear in the first and fourth angles. The mint name legend is contained within the space between an inner and outer beaded circle, consistent with the hammered coinage style of the Villafranca del Penedès mint.
