Obverse description Central field features the quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Lucca, displaying the dynastic bearings of the Bourbon-Parma family including fleurs-de-lis, lions, towers, and eagle motifs within a pointed heraldic shield. The shield is surmounted by a ducal crown rendered in fine relief. The circular legend DUCATO DI LUCCA runs along the periphery, flanked by a small six-pointed star, and the entire design is enclosed within a finely beaded border.
